To say Kendra's classes have been transformative for me is almost an understatement. She has a gift of being able to meet each student where they are in their practice, while still being able to push us to trust in the process - and in ourselves - to try, fail, learn, grow. I love and appreciate the thought she puts into each flow and series, the focus and attention of her direction, the way she reminds us that yoga is not a competitive sport but a skill for living, the community she cultivates, etc. I could go on. She's a special teacher, and a beautiful person, and we're so lucky to be able to share her gifts.

I have practiced with dozens of yoga instructors, yet only with Kendra have I made such consistent and considerable strides forward in my practice – both in-person as well as over Zoom. Each class is a masterfully curated sequence of poses that challenge and inspire me towards perfection; with her constant encouragement, I feel like I am seen and celebrated for my progress, boosting my confidence and motivating me to show up for myself again and again.

Kendra is a dynamo. Her classes are consistently energetic and challenging -- she is always pushing you to realize your utmost potential. Kendra's classes regularly incorporate strength training alongside breathwork and some of the most creative sequencing I've experienced in over 13 years of practice.

Kendra's classes are tough- she does not do “fluffy yoga"- this is what I tell my friends before they sign up for a class with me. Her classes push you to find your next level, even when you may not think a next level exists. She has a unique way of motivating you through the toughest and most challenging moments in a practice- all the while, respecting and acknowledging that everyone and all bodies are individual and beautifully different. When you don't think you can possibly go any further, her energy and encouragement guide you through. For me, her stimulating sequences and flows help create a bit of clarity and mindfulness while building strength and deepening my yoga practice. I've tried other classes & instructors and truly nothing helps clear my very chaotic mind like yours.

I first met Kendra at Y7 studios, and was immediately hooked! Kendra provides "Yoga for Athletes" - a vinyasa flow that brings heat, stemming from perfecting the basics with a gradual build to advanced flows. Kendra's unique choreography allows modifications for all yoga levels, providing a personalized workout to her loyal followers. Her classes are addicting - Kendra is motivating, enthusiastic ,and knowledgeable with her yoga practice. She always brings a solid sweat, with a smile!

Before finding Kendra, I kept trying yoga but couldn’t seem to find anyone I wanted to keep going back to. When I stumbled upon Kendra’s class, I knew immediately her practice was everything I was searching for! It’s a perfect balance of stretching, strength training, awesome music and her great personality. In addition to juggling 3 kids schedules, I book my day around her class :)

Kendra is and has been the perfect yoga teacher for me. Her approach, while not bereft of spirituality, is flexible enough to adapt to even a curmudgeon like me. Her focus has been principally on my physical state with an athletic slant I really appreciate. Of course, Kendra also takes the time to get to know my emotional state before we set out, and she is generous with her time and laughter. I have been practicing with Kendra for almost four years now, and in that time I have transformed my body almost completely. And it all started with my work with Kendra.

The first time I heard about Kendra, I was told that someone took her class and was sore for three days straight. I was instantly intrigued! She's an incredible yoga teacher, and I'm so grateful that I get to practice with her four to five times a week. Why is she so awesome, you ask? Well, she's funny, she's encouraging and most importantly, she's all about your form -- even when you're a tiny square in a Zoom class, she'll correct you. As someone who gets injured easily, I very much appreciate Kendra's attention to proper form, and she will push you to try the poses that you're convinced won't work (but it does!). She does an impeccable job of breaking down each pose, giving alternate options and will fully support you if you decide that child's pose is your jam (instead). It's so important to stay healthy and to prioritize exercise right now, which is why I start every week off with scheduling classes with Kendra, before I do anything else.

Kendra is one of those teachers who makes you want to work hard, try new poses and also enjoy the whole experience. She is very hands-on and makes sure even virtually that you're doing the poses correctly and are in alignment, while also kicking your butt (in a good way!). I love attending Kendra's classes and at the end always feeling accomplished!

Kendra is one of my favorite teachers in New York! She definitely brings the heat and radiates love and encouragement throughout every class. When I was a beginner, she was supportive and always made me feel comfortable and welcome as I started my journey. She has done a beautiful job still providing a safe space for students via zoom, and maintaining those relationships and connections she built pre-pandemic. I am so grateful I have the privilege to take her classes and look forward to it every week! You can tell this isn't just a job for Kendra, but a passion.

I’ve been practicing yoga for the 20 years and have had a challenging time finding a teacher that I wanted to stick with. Kendra changed that for me. Kendra is a fantastic teacher: her classes remain true to yoga while still incorporating an intense but manageable workout. Kendra provides excellent oral cues that allow for great self adjustments and growth- especially useful in the virtual environment. Kendra’s classes are a mental and spiritual reboot.

Kendra is by FAR my favorite yoga instructor in NYC. I've known Kendra for many years and have taken countless of her classes. Each class is unique, challenging, and fun. She's extremely descriptive and tends to provide amazing hands-on adjustments. She truly has changed my practice for the better. In addition, her music is ALWAYS on point!

Kendra is far and away my favorite yoga instructor! I've been practicing yoga for about 2.5 years and I feel like I've come so far over the past 6 months in her online classes. She does a fantastic job breaking down each pose, which is helpful for beginners and advanced yogis alike. I’ve really learned to maximize the effect of each pose in her classes! Kendra’s cues and transitions are extremely well thought-out and make for an enjoyable flow. She also does a great job recognizing and adapting to the different skill levels of the students in her classes. I highly recommend everyone take a class with Kendra!

Kendra is one of those one-of-a-kind teachers that you connect with instantly. She is thoughtful about each flow, detailed in her explanation of how a pose should be executed, and precise in each of her corrections. When quarantine started, I was most worried about what corrections would be like virtually, as I was more new to yoga then, but Kendra's instruction translated beautifully into video. She's an incredible instructor and an even more wonderful person.

Kendra has changed yoga for me. It was always just a class I did for exercise, but now it is a practice that I enjoy and that I am proud of. Kendra explains the way yoga positions should feel in such a way that I finally trust that I am doing them properly and safely for my body. Finding Kendra and making time for her yoga classes twice a week was a god send. After the pandemic started I was really looking for a way to stay in shape and in touch with myself and doing online yoga was my saving grace. Kendra not only is an awesome instructor checking in on me and guiding with her voice but she is also an awesome person. What is important is we laugh, we have fun and she works us out! If you want to actually learn yoga and appreciate the practice, Kendra is your girl. She takes the time to work with everyone individually and respects everyone as they are learning and growing. Each pose is explained thoroughly and she corrects as she feels necessary. Just by taking one class you can tell yoga is a passion of hers and how knowledgeable she is about it.
